Brandon Jennings
Brandon Jennings was an outstanding high school player at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia where he averaged over 30 points a game as a senior. In 2008 he was named Gatorade Player of the Year, McDonalds All-American, Parade Magazine Player of the Year, and all most any other award possible for high school players. Jennings first decided to go to USC to play his college basketball but than switched and announced he would play for the Arizona Wildcats. All that ended when Jennings decided to skip college and play basketball in Italy for one year before he was able to enter the NBA draft. The NBA requires players to be 19 years old and one year removed from high school before they can enter the draft; Jennings felt that playing in Europe would prepare him better than a year in college.
After a season with Lottamatica Roma in Italy Jennings finally got his shot at the NBA and was drafted 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. Jennings took the unconventional route to the NBA but now that he made it he is working to be one of the best. Brandon Jennings rookie season would be one of the best in the NBA's history. He would be the youngest player ever to score 50 points or more at age 20. He won the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month award for October, November, December, and January. Jennings would later be selected as a Unanimous 1st-Team All Rookie after leading his team to the playoffs.
Brandon's sophomore season would not disappoint either, although he had an injury for some of the season he would still average 16.2 points, and 4.8 assist per game. Brandon is looking to stay healthy this season and lead his team back to the playoffs.
Jim Stoll
Jim Stoll will direct the daily programs. Jim Stoll is widely recognized as one of the best summer camp organizers in the country. A tireless worker when it comes to athletics, Jim has been a successful coach and administrator at every level. His basketball teams at Purcell Marian H.S. in Cincinnati, Ohio include the 1985 state champion in the big school (AAA) division and were ranked as high as 17th in the USA Today poll. Jim spent five years as a Division I assistant college basketball coach at Miami of Ohio and the University of Wyoming respectively. His experience with ProCamps includes directing highly successful camps for Adrian Peterson, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and many other high-profile athletes in the NBA and NFL.
Coaches
The Brandon Jennings Basketball ProCamp will be staffed with the area's top prep coaches. Each coach will bring a unique basketball background to the event with the ability to share techniques and philosophies with the campers on a daily basis.
