A marketing intern will assist the Camp Marketing Coordinator in all aspects of marketing their clients’ camps in their respective markets. In doing so, they will apply the fundamentals of marketing to reach a pre-assigned target of paid campers as well as educate the public on the client’s community initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Market Research
- Creating promotional material and marketing collateral
- Building databases and utilizing data analysis to enhance strategies
- Establishing contacts in other markets while being based in Cincinnati
- Developing relationships with youth leagues, schools, etc.
- Managing social media
Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. Applicants must be self-motivated, detail oriented, demonstrate eagerness to learn and take directions, and see tasks through to completion. Ability to be creative, work independently, efficiently and develop solid relationships is a must. Working knowledge of and interest in NFL & NBA (teams, players, etc.) is preferred.
