Stations and Fundamentals

Each day, the campers will experience various stations, specializing in fundamental skills of basketball. Individual groups will be small to assure that each camper gets maximum instruction from the top basketball coaches in the Cleveland area.
 

Games and Competition

Campers will participate in daily games, stations, and skill contests during the Morris Cadillac Buick GMC Kyrie Irving Basketball ProCamp. Each camper will be placed on a team according to his or her age.
  

Instructional Lectures

Kyrie Irving will give daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of basketball and beyond. Parents and guests will be able to listen to camp guests in designated areas at each location.
 

Camp Store

Snacks, drinks and assorted camp items will be available for purchase. 
 

Camp Concessions

For the convenience and safety of the campers, a Camp Bracelet will be available for $10. The Camp Bracelet includes 2 sports drinks, lunch, and 1 snack each day. Bracelets are non-refundable.
 

 

Kyrie Irving 

Despite injuries shortening his season, Kyrie Irving’s stellar play in his 11 games at Duke University earned him the #1 overall selection in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. With his career ready to blossom in Cleveland, the rookie guard looks to be a catalyst for the young and resurging Cavaliers for years to come.

Irving was a standout basketball player in all 4 years of his high school career. As a freshman and sophomore at Montclair Kimberley Academy he averaged 26.5 points per game, 10.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 3.6 steals. After only two seasons Irving became the schools second 1,000 point scorer. In his final years of high school, Kyrie received national attention by being selected to play on the Junior National Select Team, as well as playing in the Nike Hoop Summit, the Jordan Brand All-American Classic, and the McDonald’s High School All-American game. Irving would complete his high school career with a gold medal in the 2010 FIBA Americas U18 Championship.

In only 11 games as a Duke Blue Devil, Irving stood out amongst the competition and was a strong candidate for NCAA Freshman of the Year. In the first 8 games of his collegiate career, Irving led Duke in scoring with 17.4 points per game while also tallying 5.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game. Returning from injury mere hours before the NCAA Tournament, Kyrie helped lead the Blue Devils to a Sweet 16 appearance where he would complete his season with a career high 28 points against Arizona. 

 

Jim Stoll

Jim Stoll will direct the daily programs. Jim Stoll is widely recognized as one of the best summer camp organizers in the country. A tireless worker when it comes to athletics, Jim has been a successful coach and administrator at every level. His basketball teams at Purcell Marian H.S. in Cincinnati , Ohio include the 1985 state champion in the big school (AAA) division and were ranked as high as 17th in the USA Today poll. Jim spent five years as a Division I assistant college basketball coach at Miami of Ohio and the University of Wyoming respectively. His experience with ProCamps includes directing highly successful camps for Chad Johnson, Carson Palmer, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and many other high-profile athletes in the NBA and NFL.
 

Camp Coaches  

The Kyrie Irving Basketball ProCamp will be staffed with the area's top prep coaches. Each coach will bring a unique basketball background to the event with the ability to share techniques and philosophies with the campers on a daily basis.

Join Impact Basketball for Premiere Basketball Training Following Camp!

Join Impact Basketball for an elite-level basketball training and skill development session immediately following each day of camp. Impact will be leading one hour of instruction focusing on three areas of player development: basketball skill development, athletic performance training, and nutritional guidance.

 

Participants in the Impact training sessions do not need to be campers in the Kyrie Irving Basketball ProCamp. Cost of the session is $50 per day. Participants are not required to attend both days.
