A Fun and Educational Experience

Stations and Fundamentals

Each day, the campers will experience various stations, specializing in fundamental skills of hockey. Individual groups will be small to assure that each camper gets maximum instruction from the top hockey coaches in the New York area.

Games and Competition

Campers will participate in daily games, stations, and skill contests during the Henrik Lundqvist Hockey ProCamp. Each camper will be placed on a team according to his or her age.

Instructional Lectures

Henrik Lundqvist will give daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of Hockey and beyond. Parents and guests will be able to listen to camp guests in designated areas at each location.

Camp Store

Snacks, drinks and assorted camp items will be available for purchase.

Camp Concessions

For the convenience and safety of the campers, a Camp Bracelet will be available for $10. The Camp Bracelet includes 2 sports drinks, lunch, and 1 snack each day. Bracelets are non-refundable.

Henrik Lundqvist

Henrik Lundqvist is a five-time Rangers MVP and four-time Vezina Trophy nominee goaltender for the New York Rangers since joining the NHL in 2006. The 2011-2012 season could be argued his best season to date as he finished with a career-best 39 wins, 1.97 goals against average, .930 save percentage and eight shutouts. He was nominated for all three of the NHL's major player awards: the Hart Memorial Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award and the Vezina Trophy. Originally from Sweden, he played for Frolunda HC in the Swedish Elitserien (Elite League), winning the Honken Trophy (awarded to the top goaltender) in his last three seasons from 2003-2005. In his final season, he won the Gold Puck and Golden Helmet, considered the two most prestigious awards in Swedish ice hockey. He led the Swedish men’s hockey team to their second Olympic gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino and to a fifth place finish at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Lundqvist is the official Rangers spokesman for the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a charitable organization that works with the Madison Square Garden Company to give back to children facing obstacles.
