Tayshaun Prince Basketball Camp

Tayshaun Prince

Tayshaun Prince was selected in the first round by the Detroit Pistons in the 2002 NBA Draft.  Since entering the league, Tayshaun has been regarded as one of the best Piston defenders. In 2004, just his second year in the league, he played a huge role in the Pistons winning an NBA championship. Since their championship Tayshaun has followed that year by becoming one of the best all around players in the NBA.

Tayshaun Prince hails from the highly touted University of Kentucky basketball program. At Kentucky, he earned a reputation as a great defender and agile scorer. Tayshaun was named a second-team Associated Press All-American after his junior season and a third-team AP All-American after his senior season. In his four years with the Cats, he averaged 13.1 points per game and finished as the seventh-leading scorer in UK history.
