Katina Taylor

Katina Taylor is from White Deer, Texas and is the wife of NFL All-Pro Jason Taylor. Katina has over eighteen years of gymnastics and formalized dance training, focusing on a variety of techniques including ballet, tap and jazz. She was also a competitive cheerleader representing Pampa High School at the 1991-1992 National Cheerleader’s Association Championships. While attending Texas Tech, she became heavily involved in community services. After graduation, Katina joined her brother, former Miami Dolphin great Zach Thomas, in Miami to continue her commitment to bettering the community and began working for the Dan Marino Foundation. In 2004, Katina and Jason Taylor established the Jason Taylor Foundation in Miami where Katina established a youth cheerleading camp that focuses on embracing, nourishing, and nurturing young girls. The camp consists of gymnastics and cheerleading as well as having a major focus on learning beneficial life skills.

Jason Witten

After nine NFL seasons, Jason Witten has emerged as one of the top tight ends in the NFL and one of the most prolific pass catching tight ends in Dallas Cowboys history. He has appeared in seven consecutive Pro Bowls, the most Pro Bowl appearances by a Cowboys tight end. Witten had his best season in 2007 establishing a club tight end record with 96 catches while also becoming the first tight end in franchise history - 13th in league history - to top 1,000 yards in a season. His 96 catches during the 2007 season also tied him for third-most ever by a tight end in the league and were the most by an NFC tight end. On December 9th, 2007 versus the Detroit Lions, Witten’s 15 receptions tied an NFL record for most receptions in a game by a tight end. His reception total from 2007 allowed him to become just the eighth tight end in league history, first in Cowboys history, to put together four consecutive seasons with at least 60 catches. Jason now owns the top spot for career receiving yards among Cowboys tight ends. His 696 receptions currently place him second all-time receiving and his 7,909 receiving yards are also second all-time for the Cowboys.

Born on May 6, 1982 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, Witten actually began his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee as a defensive end, but he switched to tight end as a freshman. In three years, he quickly became one of the best tight ends in college football and left school after his junior season. He was selected by the Cowboys in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft (69th overall). A model of durability, Witten has appeared in 97 of a possible 98 games, missing just one game after breaking his jaw against Arizona (10/5/03) and undergoing surgery to have three plates put in on Oct. 6, 2003.
