Stations and Fundamentals
Each day, the campers will experience various stations, specializing in fundamental skills of football. Individual groups will be small to assure that each camper gets maximum instruction from the top football coaches in the Columbus area.
Games and Competition
Campers will participate in daily games, stations, and skill contests during the Chris Spielman Football ProCamp. Each camper will be placed on a team according to his or her age.
Instructional Lectures
Chris Spielman will give daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of football and beyond. Parents and guests will be able to listen to camp guests in designated areas at each location.
Camp Store
Snacks, drinks and assorted camp items will be available for purchase.
Camp Concessions
For the convenience and safety of the campers, a Camp Bracelet will be available for $15. The Camp Bracelet includes 2 sports drinks, lunch, and 1 snack each day. Bracelets are non-refundable.
Inclement Weather Policy:
In the event of heavy rain or inclement weather, the camp will be moved to a nearby indoor facility. Camp instruction and other related activities will continue inside the facility. Parents will be notified of the indoor location in the Camp Bulletin that they receive at check-in on the first day of camp.
Alternate days/make-up sessions/refunds will not be offered. The decision to modify the schedule rests solely with the camp director and management.
Chris Spielman
During his college career at Ohio State University Chris was a two-time All-American with the Buckeyes and a three-time All-Big Ten selection. One of the most intense and motivated players in Scarlet and Gray history, Chris is OSU's all-time leader in solo tackles and is among the the school's all-time leading tacklers overall with 546.
The Detroit Lions selected Chris with the 29th pick in the 1988 NFL draft. During the following eight seasons, he earned Pro Bowl honors four times. He also was the first player to lead the Lions in tackles seven straight seasons. Chris played two years with the Buffalo Bills before joining the Cleveland Browns after the 1998 season.
In addition to hosting a local radio show 5 days a week, Chris also covers college football for ESPN Television. Chris is also involved in fundraising through the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.
Due to a successful career in college where Spielman still holds records and a very successful professional career, Spielman was inducted in to the College Football Hall of Fame in December 2009. Spielman joined this prestigious group during a cermony at the National Football Foundation.
Andy Olds
Andy Olds will direct the daily programs. With over 27 years of coaching experience, Coach Olds is one of the most successful high school coaches in the Cincinnati area. Since being named head Coach at Kings in 1998, Olds has lead his team to a 111-34 record, captured 9 FAVC titles and has qualified for the post season 8 times all in only 13 seasons. He is a 5 time recipient of the Cincinnati Bengals Coach Of the Week, was awarded the Warren County Excellence in Teaching Award in 1998, and in 2011, Coach Olds was named the Marvin Lewis High School Football Coach of the year. He also directs Camps for Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz, Chicago Bear’s Devin Hester, and Tennessee Titan’s Chris Johnson. Andy has been with Chris as his director since the inception of the camp in 2007.
Prior to joining the Kings Football program, Olds served as assistant football coach and head baseball coach at Madison Plains High school from 1985 – 1991. He is a graduate of East Clinton High School and Capital University where he played college football. Olds received his Masters degree from Indiana University where he was an assistant professor as well as an assistant baseball coach under legendary coach Bob Morgan. He currently resides in Maineville, Ohio with wife Pam and has two sons Tyler and Michael.
Coaches
The Old Spice Chris Spielman Football ProCamp will be staffed with the Columbus area's top prep football coaches. Each coach will bring a unique football background to the event with the ability to share techniques and philosophies with the campers on a daily basis.

Pro-Style Combine Testing
The football combine is structured after the NFL Combine and Collegiate NFL Pro-Days. The combine will consist of a minimum 5 testing procedures including: 40 yard dash, Pro-Agility Drill, L-Drill, Vertical Jump, and Standing Broad Jump. Attendees will also take part in drills specific to their primary position. We will video each player during the combine, edit their personal combine video and make available for download.
Flippen Profile Self Report (Character/Leadership Development)
A behavioral and performance assessment used to identify and break personal constraints optimizing athlete's potential for success both on and off the field. Each athlete will have an opportunity to compare themselves to the most elite athletes in the world while at the same time build a plan to help enhance their skills and find that extra edge.
